There are quite large areas of uncleared mallee in western and south western NSW. It has a character and atmosphere quite unique to the bush in Australia - a real outback feel to it.

		<description>that reminds me of long drives we went on in northern NSW when I was a kid - different types of vegetation, and the earth was usually either yellowish, or reddish-brown, but red like that in some places. and just the feel of being out in the bush...
