In December 2005 I experienced my first trip overseas. I had a few days in Thailand on my way to join my daughter on a trek in the Himalayas in Nepal during January.
While overseas I wrote extensively in my journal, recording my adventures and impressions of the country and the people. I also took many hundreds of photos.
